KBR, a high-end residential design-build firm serving the New York area, approached us after a disappointing website redesign experience. Their existing site did not meet expectations in terms of visual design, layout, or lead generation. As a firm known for its refined, word-of-mouth reputation among luxury homeowners, they needed a digital presence that matched the sophistication of their work.
With over 100 professionally photographed projects, a newly finalized logo, and a preferred color palette already established, KBR sought a modern, minimalist layout where their photography could take center stage. They also wanted to subtly integrate architectural drawing elements to highlight the technical side of their work. Given the high standards and creative vision of the stakeholders, they requested a senior designer lead the project with minimal oversight. Their approach was clear: after a failed redesign, they would “know it when they see it.”

Project Summary
This project began with virtual kickoff meetings and design reveal sessions directly with company owners, ensuring alignment from the start. Working closely with Project Managers, we organized all existing and new content to support a modern, user-friendly experience that reflected the client’s vision. The engagement included a custom website design for the homepage and five unique interior pages, as well as a reusable service subpage template optimized for SEO.
Functional prototypes were presented during the design reveal and revised across multiple feedback stages. After final approval, we coordinated a smooth handoff to developers and conducted thorough QA testing prior to launch to ensure design integrity and performance. The result was a sleek, image-forward website that balanced architectural precision with visual elegance—effectively aligning with KBR’s premium brand identity and re-establishing trust in their digital presence.
